Every one starts somewhere and I started my firm during one of the worst times to begin a new architecture business in 2006.
During the 2006-2009 era, scarce work forced small firms, like mine, to be more creative. That creativity extended beyond the architecture design core competency and into the architecture business competency.
Cheryl Weber interviewed me and several other firms during the architecture black hole to solicit our approach to survival business techniques. She crafted an article published in Architecture Magazine titled, “right-sizing your price” that explored different architect’s from diverse approach to a new architecture business age.
So far, this is the closest thing to my personal 15 minutes of fame, but stay tuned because I’m still young.
